Stephen Noonoo

Stephen Noonoo is an ed-tech journalist and the current editor of eSchool News, one of the leading publications covering the intersection of education and innovation serving thousands of educators in print and online. Before taking over the reins of eSchool News in 2014, he worked as a freelance education writer authoring numerous case studies and best practice articles for educators, including a whitepaper on going 1:1 for CoSN, and as an ed-tech consultant where he helped organize online and in-person professional development events for companies like Cisco and PCMG. He has served as an education editor for publications such as THE Journal, SmartBrief, and OnCUE, the quarterly publication of California’s ISTE affiliate, CUE, where he also consulted on its popular YouTube show Infinite Thinking Machine. Prior to covering education, he worked as a grant writer and a health care journalist.

Noonoo currently appears as a guest on the Education Talk Radio podcast and has presented on school-media relations at FETC. In March he will speak as part of an expert panel on “Leading the Digital Leap” as part of CoSN’s 2016 annual conference. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico and currently lives in Los Angeles.
