How one district evolved their PD to meet changing needs
Since 2019, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has tackled some common challenges for school systems: implementing a rigorous new curriculum, adapting instruction to distance learning, and building internal capacity for professional development. This case study demonstrates how CMS worked with their PD partner, BetterLesson, to support hundreds of teachers and leaders to respond to these changing needs, always prioritizing student-centered, equitable learning.
